| Passionated by Japan since childhood, starts theatre as an amateur from junior high school (participation in "European High School Theatre Festival in English" in the Netherlands in 1996). Starting to study japanese at Bordeaux university (France), goes to Japan in 2000 to study japanese. While studying at university, starts to work as a model for japanese magazines ("VOCE", "Tokyo 1 Shuukan"....) pamphlets and posters. At the beginning of 2001, the participation in the TV show "24 Nin no Katoh Ai" becomes the start on japanese TV screen. Then follow a lot of appearences in TV Dramas such as "Ashita ga Arusa", "Yan Papa" or "Home & Away", and from 2002 main parts and guest-star parts in the theatre play "TokuDane yarou! Ee Team", prime-time TV Dramas ("Keitai keiji Zenigataai" and "Densetsu no Madame" - with Kaori Momoi -) and TV commercials as "Yamasaki Haru no Pan Matsuri", "Yanmar" or "NISSAN Amenio". Obtains in 2007 a regular main part for the nation-wide broadcasted TV drama "OBANZAI !"(40 episodes, September/October 2007, monday to friday), and the part of "Jean Donnadieu" in the TV special drama "Nodame Cantabile in Europe". Also obtains in 2008 the main-speaker position for the "French Lessons" educational TV program ("Terebi de Furansu-go") on NHK Educational channel (broadcasted from April 2008). Although, participation in 2001 in "Wasabi"'s shooting (Luc Besson's production) as a crew member, and in 2002 in the japanese super-production "Spy Sorge" (international release in 2003) as an actor and production coordinator influenced him a lot and oriented his career to the big screen, with acting parts in international release movies as "Shimotsuma Monogatari" ("Kamikaze Girls") , "Odoru daisousasen 2" ("Bayside Shakedown 2") or "Out Of This World". Writes and directs his first short movie "Yo no naka ni denai monotachi ha mayonaka ni atsumatte asobu -PANDORA-" ("Midnight Rendez-vous -PANDORA-") in 2005 with in the leading parts the famous anime dubbing actor Shotaro Morikubo ("NARUTO", "Prince of Tennis") and the internationnaly recognized actress Kaori Sakagami. http://pandora.van-son.net/ Works also as a lyrics writer for many TV programs and commercials songs, mainly collaborating with the famous singer Akino Arai. In 2004 starts also a career still continuing as Radio-DJ on Tokyo's main radio station:J-WAVE. Feeling strongly concerned by the problems of poverty, violence and abuse, all sorts of segregation, environment, and considering medias and acting business as a favorable position to widen those messages as an absolute priority, plan to continue promoting concretely those and to establish more volunteer actions. |
